Question Project
Civic Studio Collaboration with MilM2
What is Question Project?
The interactive public art installation designed by the Mil M2 collective, Question Project asks its participants to search within themselves to find a question The collective prompts the public with a trigger question, such as “WHAT IS URGENT TO ASK?” After supplying the participants with paper, a pen, and a space to reflect, the participants are asked to respond to the question with their own question Question Project exists to generate dialogue, knowledge, information, polysemy, and multiverses within our own communities

Question Project is operated by humans to connect with others, so requires active participation Rather than existing as a single physical location, this installation finds a home wherever people may be, from institutions and museums to city streets and open water buoys Question Project fosters ongoing conversations, exploring themes of uncertainty, curiosity, and collective inquiry without providing answers, becoming an archive of questions and reflections across disciplines and borders This project does not seek answers but instead invites participants to join the artists in the unknown, in the questioning
